‘A Shadow in the Ember’ is another perfect read by Jennifer L. and everything in this book kept me sitting on the edge of my seat. There is a lot of world building, and secrets. There was plenty of action, and suspense going on as well. And Ash definitely was just so amazing.īut not only the chemistry between the two main characters was amazing. They made me feel so many things! I definitely devoured the pages wanting to learn more about them. And I couldn’t get enough of their story. Amazing!! I loved him! The chemistry between Sera and Ash was amazing. And the way she never stayed silent when it probably would have been wiser to do so.Īnd then Ash, or Nyktos. Boy did I love her character! Sera was definitely a character I couldn’t get enough from. I loved getting to know the world set in this book. Just like I couldn’t stop reading the books in the Blood and Ash series. And when I was finally able to start reading, I couldn’t stop reading at all. And there is a lot more to their story then both could ever imagine.Įver since I heard about this book, I knew I wanted to read it. To safe her country, Sera must get close to Ash.
